With over 22 years experience in Careers Advice, Guidance and Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG) Glyn is regarded as an expert on careers issues having been regularly interviewed on Radio Leeds, Look North, Calendar, Radio 4, Radio 5 Live, National BBC News, Press Association, Real Radio and Capitol Radio.

Glyn is a registered Careers Adviser with the Career Development Institute.

SCHOOLS

Glyn has worked extensively with young people choosing year 8/9 GCSE subjects, Year 11 students choosing A levels, other courses or apprenticeships*, and also with sixth formers choosing what to do next such as degree, another course or an apprenticeship.

Glyn provided ‘one to one’ careers interviews for students and developed interesting and informative presentations for each year group. At the annual Leeds Careers Fair held in the Royal Armouries Glyn presented an information session to parents and young people on their options and the importance of making good decisions. He is also a presenter at the Leeds Careers Live events.

Early 2013 Leeds City Council had some very important government civil servant visitors from Bangladesh who wanted to know about careers guidance in Leeds Schools. Glyn was the ‘careers expert’ chosen to deliver the presentation and answer questions to these VIPs.

ADULTS & GRADUATES
Previously Glyn worked with hundreds of people looking for a new job or career change. In addition Glyn has worked with unemployed adults providing careers guidance interviews and job clubs on behalf of Huddersfield University. He can provide careers guidance, longer term career coaching, CV (resume) writing and redundancy support.

In the past Glyn has worked in management in a multi million pound company and brings a valuable insight of  job interviews and recruitment to your careers interview.
